Recently however, Rosemary's long time nagging interest in the spirit realm couldn't stay in the background any longer. After suffering from a long undiagnosed illness and losing her mother to cancer, the course of her life took a change. She decided to go into volunteer hospice work to give back. She concentrates mostly on "Vigil Work" with the imminently dying patient, feeling so honored to be included in that sacred space of a person's final moments. There is definitely a connection between her art work and her hospice work. Her angels represent the joy she feels from connecting with the Spirit. When she paints, she acknowledges her deep faith in knowing that we are continually protected and guided. Complete control of what she paints is given over to the Spirit.
Just like music plays an important role in providing comfort when someone is actively dying, she hopes art will come to have more of a place in bringing peace to the dying person and their loved ones.
Rosemary and her husband have four daughters and live in Wildwood, Illinois.
