What
is Intuitive Art ?
I
believe all true art forms are manifestations of
the Spirit.
Thought,
which is energy, combined with skill, technique,
and
passion result
in what we know to be art.
Moreover, when
the thought pattern is recognized to be directly
from
the Omnipotence of Originality,
or is a Direct Line, per se,
without
any other outside direction,
reference or interference,
the
art is felt to be Intuitive. The intuitive
painter's job is to
remain
focused on his intent to be a channel and trust the
guidance
of his/her inner voice for direction.
Intuitive
artists zone out
to a place where there is no time, no order,
no
boundaries, no preconceived ideas, only a blissful
connection
with
the Master Painter.
My experiences are sometimes like that of a passenger
on
a bumpy bus ride, arm stretched up high, hanging
onto the leather
overhead
strap for support. I am hopefully secure in
my survival despite the
unsettling
conditions of the trip. Trusting and
hanging on, while
focusing
on the greatest
intent to arrive
safely is precarious business.
Fear
must not set in as I prepare for
a sometimes tumultous journey.
Faith
will allow the familiar basic fundamentals of
color, line, texture,
and
composition to fall in place .
This
is where the healing comes in to the Intuitive picture.
Strategic
placement
of colors,
dabbles of texture, squiggles
of lines, and glorious
patterns
of light offer a fine pallet
and a good set of brushes for the
Master
Painter to soothe the soul. While experiencing the finished
artwork,
the
senses are stimulated and healing emotion begins to flow.
As
an artist, I belong to Him and am continually
aware of
his
nudges
to produce beautiful works of art.
I
tell him, "Use me."
He
answers, "Just sit down, and start creating ! "
